Mental Resilience

Hello everyone. Long time no see. πŸ’–

I wanted to write something after a long time. I was considering writing a chapter for the book I'm working on, but it would require a lot of peace, time, and space. At the moment when I was thinking about writing, my eyes caught a file where I used to keep my courses and newly discovered topics notes bound, so I thought, why not these, and I ended up opening Blogger. We need to sit and talk for hours on why Blogger LOL. Coming to the point, the first topic I got in my hands was Mental Resilience. A very general topic indeed, yet very important. This thing, or we may say word, is part of many of our lives; we just don't realise it, but we go hand in hand with it. And to be sure, those who haven't joined hands with it yet literally need water to breathe instead of oxygen. Okay, now without wasting time, let's dive into the resilience we need to get more resilient mentally.

It's my third year in university, and not only life but university taught me a lot. From losing your identity to losing people and the surroundings we all grew up in. Not only me every individual who is reading this is somewhat going through something or has gone through something. The difference is only in the level of the hurt and peace that thing or situation gives, and most importantly, the change a person gets after that situation. Some lose interest and trust in other people, and some lose trust in themselves, while others lose it all. For people who lost a little, it’s very easy to survive, but for those who lost every pinch of their survival mode, oxygen feels insufficient to survive.

Okay, we all need therapy to be honest me and you need two cups of coffee, you sitting by my side, and a long deep talk about life. Well, I think it would heal a lot in you and me, isn't it?

When I was going through this topic "MENTAL RESILIENCE".I don't remember how long ago but years ago indeed  I didn’t get the point of what the author or the teller was talking about. I just wrote notes of the words I felt were meaningful and important. And now, after almost a decade, when I started reading them again, I got a wave of reality clicking in my mind. I've come to know I had developed an actually good amount of strength mentally. The first line I read from my notes was:

"Life doesn't get easier or more forgiving; we get stronger and more resilient" — Steve Maraboli.

That’s a fact, or you may say a reality check we all got when we stepped into our adult ages after 18 or 20 to be more specific. We got stronger and more forgiving than our lives isn’t that a valid point to consider for yourself? Life is not a bed of roses, or an ocean of honey, that it will always be easy and treat you like you’ve been soft as a cloud. We should have been taught this before coming into adulthood  we might have had more strength to face the nightmares of being a grown body.

Well, I don't remember which year it was when I was getting into this topic, but there is something my notes say:

"According to the World Health Organization, around 800,000 people around the world kill themselves every year."

It’s sad and more harsh than living. We think we are the only ones suffering, but there are people out there wishing to have a life like ours it’s just not enough for us. Many people crash and take their lives because they thought life was going to be easy on them, but they don't know what life is. Unfortunately, life is such an unpredictable spouse or lover who promises you forever but that forever is never in the present nor future. Life is volatile, changing with every second and every inch. It’s people who are not prepared for it  their lack of preparation makes them unable to cope with the fiery darts life throws at them. When you are not mentally prepared for the adversities of life, you will throw in the towel too soon.

It’s not over yet if we had to, we could talk for weeks or months without getting tired of these words. There is way more depth in the oceans than it seems to be. Let’s cover this word Mental Resilience every week with a good point of view from every individual out there.I'll be sharing different topics I covered when I was going  through this ( I don't remember anything related to it, its just my notes that says it allπŸ˜ƒ ), in this blog in new posts. Just in hope people think about their lives, and how to be more resilient to it.

Till that.

Cheers to the life we have, and the peace we inhale

-love
